News Squad

Anarchy al ackbar - the force is with us now and then no victory for the Intifada's brothers and sisters will be stopped by George Bush or Tony Blair or John Howard. This quagmire in SW Asia is the Rashomon of wars and one whose cause, like the brutal crime at the centre of that Kurosawa movie remains a total mystery.

Why did the US invade Iraq?

It still isn’t possible to be sure and this remains the most remarkable thing about the Iraq war. Two and half years after the US launched the war, with more than 2,000 US soldiers killed and the monthly death toll still rising, questions over how and why the US went to war are again scorching Washington underpant's.

Anarchy al ackbar and will soon grant victory to the insurgent mujaheddin in Iraq and distributed fedeyeen elsewhere. May the force stay with us as we unite in diversity and strike in unison against the criminal government of Israel that has been hurting our brothers and sisters in Palestine for so many years. May the force be with us and grant victory to the anarcho-mujaheddin in Kashmir and Chechnya, and Palestine, anarchy al ackbar. Inshanarchia yet more dark days will descend upon America - general winter- the enemy is weak and disorganized...deaf, blind and dumb. Like a sick lame an old Mammoth it may shortly be driven over a cliff. Bush's start wars policy is now in play, engulfed in flame and will soon be in ashen ruins.

Netcast breaking...bomb threats a hoax: Police

November 03, 2005

NEW South Wales police today revealed there had been a threat to blow up Sydney's Town Hall station and two other general threats against the city today, but they had been hoaxes.

NSW Deputy Police Commissioner Terry Collins said police had received three separate threats this afternoon, including an email – circulated through Sydney's business district – specifically targeting the busy underground train station.

Mr Collins tonight appealed for calm and reassured Sydneysiders they would be informed "immediately" of any real threat against the city.

"These threats have all been thoroughly investigated and found to be nothing more than a hoax," he said in a statement.
