Monday Briefs: Police Chief Axes Criminal Division Head
• Budapest Police Captain Péter Gergényi relieved Criminal Department Head Ferenc Horváth of his position on Friday, without explanation. Horváth lead the investigation into the controversial sword attack that took place on a bus earlier this year. [hirado.hu]
• A 60-year-old man stabbed his 40-year-old roomate to death at a seniors' home on Pesti út (District XVII) last night. [nethírlap]
• A 53-year-old hang-glider suffered serious injuries when he crashed into high-tension wires then fell on a wine cellar in Harsány (Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County) yesterday afternoon.
