World Day of Action Against Executions

Today was the World Day of Action Against Executions - two days until the 1000th execution in the US since the death penalty was reinstated; five days since the 122nd death row prisoner was exonerated; and a week until Schwarzenegger holds a closed clemency hearing on Tookie Williams.

There are now thirteen days left to get clemency for Stan "Tookie" Williams and some new resources are available. SaveTookie.org has been revamped and is much more accessible. Along with contacting the Governor, I've been given contact info to two of his top advisors and people are recommended to contact them as well.

It's best if these people are contacted before the December 8th hearing. For all those in California, here's a list of events if you want to get further involved.
