It's the sex dude
Just measure the pleasure - By Don Lykins for news squad.
You always hear men talking about the size of their penises. What about women? How big are their clitorises?
You might be surprised to know that the average clitoris is about 4 inches long, but only a small portion of this delightful sex organ is outside the body. Just how far that little bud extends out varies from woman to woman. The clitoris is shaped like a wishbone and made of erectile tissue that fills with blood when aroused, just like the penis. But unlike the male unit that has various functions, providing pleasure is the only physiological job the clitoris seems to serve.
It's all in the training: In a previous article you advised controlling ejaculation through controlled masturbation. At the same time, I have read several articles on the 'Net advising against masturbation and accusing it of being one of the main sources of premature ejaculation. How is that?
Early masturbatory practices can lead to the development of premature ejaculation. Imagine a healthy adolescent who stumbles onto a copy of Playboy. Seeing the naked bodies of these voluptuous beauties, he naturally feels a need to take matters into his own hands. But there is little privacy in his home, so he locks himself in the bathroom and has at it.
Fearing he will be discovered and the bathroom door broken down at any moment, it's a quick wham, bam, thank you hand. Thus, our young protagonist learns to get the job done quickly and efficiently. Each time this scenario plays out (and it likely plays out many, many times over the years), he further conditions himself to climax quickly.
Unfortunately, once you've trained your body to respond quickly, it's hard to break the habit, which can lead to embarrassing sexual problems with future partners.
The "stop-start" method mentioned in a recent column does prescribe controlled masturbation to prolong ejaculation. The point of that technique is to re-condition the body to gradually delay orgasm. Over time it's possible to build up endurance and have a satisfying sex life.
